LYNX

PERFECT SIGHT PICTURE — DAY AND NIGHT.

The Lynx combines trigalight self-powered illumination with a precision light pipe into a single integrated sight component that performs across the full light spectrum. In bright daylight conditions, the light pipe absorbs ambient light and concentrates it at the front, producing a vivid illuminated ring that stands out clearly against any target background. In darkness, the trigalight installed inside the light pipe glows as a precise light point, giving the shooter a reliable, self-powered aiming reference that requires no battery, no switch and no intervention.

This dual-mechanism design eliminates the tradeoff that has always existed in sight illumination: bright sights in daylight tend to wash out at night, and good night sights are often barely visible in full sun. The Lynx solves both problems in one component.

YOUR OEM PARTNER FOR DUAL DAY/NIGHT SIGHT COMPONENT SUPPLY

The trigalight® Lynx is an OEM component produced exclusively for sight manufacturers and firearm producers integrating a day/night front sight solution into their product line. It is not available as an aftermarket or consumer product. Each Lynx format is engineered to the specific outer diameter, length and installation geometry of the sight housing it is designed for.

We work with manufacturers from the specification stage: defining the light pipe colour and geometry, selecting the appropriate trigalight® format for the enclosed GTLS, producing prototypes for sight picture evaluation, and supplying series components once the design is approved and validated. Custom lengths, outer diameters and day ring configurations are available. NUREG compliance documentation and traceability records are provided for every production batch.

HOW THE LYNX WORKS

TWO MECHANISMS. ONE COMPONENT.

The light pipe is the daytime component of the Lynx. It is a precision optical element that absorbs ambient light entering along its length and concentrates it at both ends. When installed in a front sight, this produces a bright, clearly visible illuminated ring around the sight face — highly effective in full sunlight, overcast conditions and all intermediate lighting levels.

The trigalight installed inside the light pipe is the night component. It glows continuously, independently of any ambient light, providing a reliable aiming point in complete darkness. There is no transition time, no activation and no mode switching — the two illumination mechanisms operate simultaneously and complement each other seamlessly across all lighting conditions.

Daytime Performance

The light pipe absorbs available ambient light and concentrates it at the emission point, producing a bright illuminated front ring. Performance scales with ambient light — the brighter the environment, the more pronounced the ring effect. Highly effective in full sun, overcast, and indoor lighting conditions. Available in green and red light pipe colours.

Night Performance

The trigalight inside the light pipe provides continuous self-powered illumination in complete darkness. No battery, no charging, no switch. Glow duration: 10+ years continuous. The trigalight is installed in round cross-section format. Available in green as standard.
